This Waterfall Blue Glaze produced some unanticipated effects in my kiln. Every now and then, the kiln gods look down and work their magic.

Waterfall Blue is a variation on a glaze mentioned in the book "Mastering Cone 6 Glazes" written by John Hesselberth and Ron Roy. I've started mixing my own glazes, mostly because I wanted to control the colors on my tile. Their original Waterfall Brown is lovely, and I experimented a great deal to achieve a blue version of it. This tile is a perfect example of it.
