Designing a piece of custom furniture is not difficult. The form below will help guide you along, asking pertinent design questions. The questions involve the type of wood you prefer as well as dimensions for the piece. I encourage you to put some thought into the design, considering options such as drawers, tiles, inlays or even a mirror to hang above your table. This is the time to consider your individualized, custom needs.
Presently, my commissions are limited to my specialty area; benches and tables. As in any collaborative effort, there is much discussion before drawings are made. This brainstorming ensures that we’re both “seeing” the same piece and that it’s within the scope of my building style.
Once the design is nailed down and contains all desired aspects and features, I will submit a scaled drawing for your approval. Don’t be discouraged if this takes some time, I want your piece to be exactly what you have in mind. Upon final approval, I will submit a price and an estimated time for delivery. A deposit of one-third of the price will add you to my working schedule.
