Opening a ceramic kiln is like Christmas morning- the results are both surprising and sometimes unpredictable. This Celadon tile developed some wonderful blue specks in its surface, reminding me of a gorgeous starry night sky. I've only been able to duplicate this glaze with one other tile, and both are among my private collection of furniture.
